NACHAL NOVEA MEKOR CHOCHMA is a nonprofit/amuta founded in Israel in 1967 for the purpose of restoring Torah Judaism to Tsfat. Today, Tsfat has blossomed into a city of dynamic living Torah to inspire those who want to spiritually progress in Judaism.
Great Breslev Synagogue. On just about any given Shabbat, they Great Synagogue of Chassidei Breslev brims with "Tsfasers", as well as a multitude of visitors of all backgrounds. With a stunning view overlooking the same mountains of Meron that the Holy Ari, Rabbi Isaac Luria, and his followers gazed upon as they welcomed the Shabbat 500 years ago, the Synagogue has become a focal point for the Shabbat experience in Tsfat today.
Kollel Ohr Tzaddikim is a full-time Torah learning program for men, holding 150 scholars who exert a growing influence felt within Tsfat and her surrounding communities. Multi-level tracks for advanced learning and rabbinic ordination are shaping future teachers and leaders of the Jewish people.
Talmud Torah Magen Avot was founded on the dream to restore Jewish children to the alleyways and streets of the Old City of Tsfat, where so many holy tzaddikim left their redemptive imprint. Over 400 students from diverse backgrounds learn and play together from pre-K to eighth grade. Along with the highest caliber Torah studies, derech eretz and character development are stressed through regular contests and campaigns designed to foster the personal refinement that is integral to a genuine Torah education. Yeshiva High School for boys aged 13-16. Located on the second and third levels of the Torah Center, the Yeshiva also has a dormitory facility for out-of-town students. The school has rapidly made a name for itself as graduates are in high demand at the top upper-level yeshivas across the country.
Ganei Yehudit Education Center for Girls was established in the name of Rabbanit Esther Yehudit Kenig, a"h, wife of Rav Gedaliah Aharon Kenig, zt"l. There are three pre-school and kindergarten classes for ages 3-5, with additional classes for older girls to be added next year.
Tsfat Nursery & Daycare Center is a full-time early childcare program serving families of greater Tsfat, currently accommodating 70 infants and toddlers. This is a nationally recognized institution for its innovative and adaptive programs.
Tsfat Mikveh & Education Center was built to service all residents of the Upper Galilee and visitors to Tsfat. Spacious and exquisitely designed, the structure hold a suite of multiple mikvaot, including a special mikveh for the handicapped.
